John Abraham reaches Chennai for Madras Cafe

John Abraham travels to Chennai today to launch the trailer of the
Tamil version of Madras Cafe.The political thriller dubbed in Tamil
will see its release on the 23rd August.

Confirming the news says director Shoojit Sircar, "Yes we will be
dubbing Madras Cafe in Tamil since John and I wanted to ensure better
reach to our South audiences. John will be in Chennai to launch the
trailer .This makes us very happy as the milieu of the film is set
there".

While the film is a fictional account of a subject ,it touches upon
true events that took place between the late 80's and early 90's .

As per the sources, "John is taking personal interest to ensure that
the dubbing takes place smoothly,he wants to ensure that the film
receives a warm reception in Tamil Nadu and across the world.While
there was several speculation on vested interests demanding for the
film to be banned - The makers of Madras Cafe have reiterated that in
no way does the content of the film look to offend anyone's sentiments
and look forward to the south audiences enjoying the film".

Adds Sircar, "As a conscious citizen, I know how sensitive the issue
is. The film is entirely an unbiased perspective".

Presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and JA Entertainment and
produced by Rising Sun Films and JA Entertainment , Madras Cafe
,directed by Shoojit Sircar is scheduled to release 23rd August 2013.
