For actor Abhishek Bachchan, his megastar father Amitabh Bachchan is
the greatest actor, who inspires him and several other actors to give
their best shot and dedication to every film.

Asked about his favorite actor, Abhishek said, "For me, as a fan and
as an actor, it's going to Amitabh Bachchan. But honestly speaking,
having been an actor for 13 years now, I know what it takes to stand
in front of a camera and give a shot."

"I really think anybody who manages to perform in front of the camera
with all the pressure is a great actor."

Abhishek spoke on Wednesday at the unveiling of the Mandate magazine,
cover featuring him and Big B in the same frame.

The 37-year-old says, his father's films have always inspired him, and
his dedication is commendable.

"All his films have inspired me since I was a kid... since Saat
Hindustani to now. I feel the best thing about him is whether the film
works or not, his work is always good and his dedication is great," he
said.

"I can't think of a film where someone didn't like his work. We just
try and be as good as him," added the proud son.

Nevertheless, he believes his profession needs guts - so, whether one
is a newcomer or a veteran, everyone is a good actor.

"Any actor, be it in their first film or whether they have done 100
films, from Yusuf saab (Dilip Kumar) to a newcomer, I think they are
all great actors. It takes a lot of guts to do what we do and it is
difficult," he said.

Abhishek is currently shooting for Dhoom 3 and also has Karan Johar's
production Dostana 2 and Farah Khan's directorial Happy New Year in
his kitty.
