Early Estimate: 2nd Day Saturday Box Office Collection Of CHENNAI EXPRESS, mind blowing

"Chennai Express" is receiving typical reactions from trade, critics
and audience. Audience is loving it, critics are bashing it and trade
looks divided for obvious reasons as Shahrukh makes a huge comeback
who was written off by few in trade (believe me that was the case!).

Film started rather slowly in first show in morning but film jumped
from 12 PM onwards and film is now zooming past many records with
every passing hours. Film was super strong in CI, CP, Gujarat, Bihar,
UP and Mumbai. Gurgaon, Delhi and East Punjab also improved
compensating for yesterday.

Overall film dropped by 15% - 20% which was expected on working day
and it seems that despite all this film might still cross 2nd day
highest box office collection record of "Ra.One" (25 cr nett). This
will be 3rd straight record for film after highest paid previews and
1st day nett domestic collection in addition to overseas records in
various territories. Film collected close to 2 cr in Pakistan on
Friday which was again a record.

As per early estimates, film should collect 25.15 cr nett and easily
this figure can end up 5-7% higher depending on night shows which are
too many in numbers. At the moment it seems that film will cross 90 cr
nett over the weekend which will be again a min blowing record.

We will be back with latest updates post morning around 11:30 AM.
