After a Record Opening day, Chennai Express is all set for another huge day
at the Box Office. The film collected a
record 6.2 Crore on Thursday
( Paid Previews ) and on Friday which
was the opening day of the film,
Chennai Express breaks the Opening day record of Ek Tha Tiger by
collecting 33.12 Crore. The total of two
days including the Paid Previews is
around 40 Crore which is Outstanding.
In overseas, all records have been
broken everywhere. The worldwide
collections of first two days including the previews are around 62 Crores !
Normally, after a record opening, the
collections fall heavily next day
because of the working day but here
Chennai Express has an advantage.
On Saturday too, there is a holiday in
many places and also, because tomorrow is Sunday, so today's
evening and late night show will have
a good occupancy. So overall, the
collections for Saturday can touch or
even pass 20 crore mark which can
take the total to above 55 Crore.
