Sachin Tendulkar, who is not just the face of World Cricket but also
an idol for many people across the world, has taken an initiative to
make his fans imbibe something good from him. Yes, the ace cricketer
has lend his voice to record a poem for Men Against rape and
Discrimination(MARD) campaign.
Master Blaster has joined hands with the actor-director Farhan Akhtar
and has recorded the poetry in Marathi.
The poem, which was written by Bollywood's most famous and talented
lyricist Javed Akhtar, has been translated in Marathi by Jitendra
Joshi.
The poem was recorded in Shankar Ehsaan Loy's music studio.
The social campaign, which was started
by Farhan Akhtar in 2103, was supported by many celebs of from the
film fraternity. Also cricketers like Adam Gilchrist and Gautam
Gambhir are connected with the campaign.
