Chennai Express | 2nd Day Saturday Box-Office Collection

Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone's Chennai Express, which is doing
massive business in Overseas and India Box
Office, collected 28 crores on its 1st Saturday i.e. Day 2. This Rohit Shetty
directorial now stands at a domestic
total of about 67.85 crores at the Domestic Box Office. The movie
performed excellent in Mumbai, Delhi
and UP circuits.

The numbers are undoubtedly great,
however, it was expected to pick up on
Day 2 considering a usual upward trend
at the Box Office for any film. But, since
its release day itself was a Holiday unlike
Saturday, the drop was understandable. Interestingly, Salman Khan's Ek
Tha Tiger had made a Day 2 business of about 14.55 crores at the
Indian Box Office.

The movie will pick up today for sure,
considering a Sunday and collect good
moolahs with the hike in ticket prices at
multiplexes all over India. However, the
question still remains here is – "Will
Chennai Express Reach The 100 Crore Club In 3 Days?"
