Chennai Express is all set for a huge
Sunday. This is the third day of the
movie. After a huge opening day, the
film witnessed a very little drop in
collections on its second day. In fact, the film made the record of highest
second day collections. Chennai
Express is a Thunderstorm at Box
Office. Historical Records on the cards !
Sunday is expected to have a good
total. However, it will be quite
interesting to see how big the film
collects today. 25 Crore is almost
guaranteed. Anything above 25 crore
means that the public response of the film ( WOM ) is excellent. Somehow, if
Chennai Express collected around or
above 30 crore, it means the response
is FANTABULOUS !
The total Net collections of first two
days are around 68 crore. The opening
weekend collections will be 85-90
crore in any case. However, we are
looking at 90+.
The million dollar question is that Can Chennai Express cross the 100
crore mark in 3 days ?
Chennai Express needs 32.08 Crore for
completing 100 crore in India. The film
can collect this amount today on
Sunday but it will be quite difficult but
it is quite possible too. If it happened,
Chennai Express will become the first movie to collect 100 crore in just 3
days including the Paid Previews.
However if not Sunday, the movie will
complete 100 crore on Monday which
will also be a record of making 100
crore in just 4 days. Current fastest 100 crore record is with Ek Tha Tiger
( 5 Days ).
