Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza have a
love story like that of a romantic movie.
Riteish made sure he sent a telegram to
his wife Genelia on the day that the 160-
year-old telegram service came to an end. This is one of the most romantic
moments in the B-Town and not to
forget this is not onscreen. If you're still
not aware when the telegram service
ended, the system faded into history on
July 15, 2013.
Actress Genelia had never received a
telegram before this, so Riteish did not
want to miss out on an opportunity. He
used this situation to make it a special
moment. Therefore, this happens to be
Genelia's first and last telegram and this made her extremely happy.
"Received my 1st telegram on the last
day of its service from my Navra. Thank
you Riteish #happy me," Genelia posted
on her Twitter page on August 2. Navra
means husband in Marathi. The actress
even posted an image of the special telegram sent by her husband.
The couple first met during the movie
Tujhe Meri Kasam and their love story
began from there. . The two didn't
realise their love overnight. The couple
say that falling in love was gradual for them.
Genelia had earlier mentioned that they
are still friends even after their marriage
in 2012. "The best part is that we've
never stopped being friends no matter
how much our relationship has grown," she said.

Friendship Day.
